Countdown to 30 // Birthday Wish List
I'm kicking off this almost birthday month with my annual birthday wish list! You all know how much I love making this list every year... I couldn't resist getting a jumpstart on it while doing some black Friday shopping today. Let's just say I was able to score some of these items... Finally got that perfect LBD I've had my eye on. We had the same dress at my work but it sold out so fast that I missed it. annnd drum roll please... I totally got those badass boots on sale yo! So if you're in the giving spirt this year, I still have my heart set on those beautiful lipstick shades, ruby woo and stone... That Kat V Don palette, Bumble and Bumble shampoo set, that dope patch, the Indoorsy sweatshirt.... I realllly want this (hint hint), the coolest jacket ever and those mugs, omg, I NEED those! um, and a lucite bar cart.. yes, please. I mean, I am turning 30.

I'm Still Here
Holy shit, I can't believe it has been six months since my last blog post... Let's see I turned 29, the MR. and I
moved into the 60's California ranch house of our dreams, I've been knee deep in vintage denim busting out custom
cutoffs for the shop and working 40+ hour work weeks with the boutique. The MR. just finished recording the new album with Forget Your Friends that is set to launch late this Summer and he is starting production on their upcoming video!
Let's just say 2015 has been pretty awesome so far! XO

Pneumonia
Im ALIVE!! After being in bed for over a week with pneumonia and a trip to the hospital I am finally out of bed! I may look like a zombie but I'm feeling a million billion times better and ready for the holidays! I can now spell pneumonia.

A Few Things...
While in bed sick the last few days with this reoccurring pneumonia I found a few things that need to make their way into my life... Some of which I may or may not have purchased while under the influence of antibiotics and NyQuil.

Sorry for the crickets around here but ya know how it goes. Let's see how fast I can update you... The MR. and I celebrated four years of marriage on September 25th and we started a few new projects with the label and the shop that we are excited to finalize! He also released a music video with his band, Forget Your Friends, for their single, Scream Queen, and they have some killer shows coming up! I went on a mini getaway to the lovely Madonna Inn. Dressed up as Snow White for Halloween and finally watched Maleficent. Well, I think that's it... lol... Keep up on Instagram, that's where its at yo.

White After Labor Day
You know what they say... You can't wear white after Labor Day. Well, good thing I only wear black! With that... I am SO ready for Fall! Vacation time is over and it's time to get ready for the Holidays... and by Holidays I mean what is only known as 'Retail Holiday Season' ... A six month block from September 1st to March 1st jammed pack with every major holiday. Also known as, see ya in March! lol. What can I say, I love it... I mean, you either work in the industry or you don't. I'm totally ready for the hectic schedule and little down time. The MR. and I take full advantage of any down time we have, we love getting sidetracked on the weekends... Staying an extra night at our favorite hotel, searching for vintage records and clothing, diner dining, and of course, me forcing a million couples selfies on him. le sigh. Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall!

FYF
The past few months have been super busy for the MR. and FYF.... Back to back shows, the release of their new single Scream Queen, tons of radio play and a recent Music Video shoot with Hectic Films, creators of Naked Zombie Girl. FYF has been on the road playing with bands; A Lot Like Birds, Man With A Mission, Vinyl Pinups and Parade of Lights

Birthday Weekend
That's right... my handsome MR. turned 32 on Saturday and we celebrated with a long weekend together! Private hot tub in the forest and massages at the Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort, tattoos and lots of Madonna Inn birthday cake!

Weekends
I live for the weekends! The MR. and I work crazy hours during the week and we definitely take our down time seriously. Lately, our weekends have been just as busy as our work weeks. The MR. has been in the studio with FYF recording their new single, Scream Queen, this song holds a very special place in my heart and the emotion behind it is so overwhelming... I can't even listen to it without crying. Production on the music video begins shortly and the band will be on the road every weekend... Come out to one of the shows and say Hi! We have some big news to announce on our record label, Oktoheart, this summer as well as some exciting new things coming to Hella Vintage!! We have been on the road listening, watching, finding new music, bands and scouring California for the best vintage treasures.... It's going to be a great Summer! XO

8 Years Later...
oh em gee! I can't believe it has been 8 years already... It feels just like yesterday that the MR. sent me a friend request on Myspace. That's right, we totally met on Myspace! It was May 31, 2006.... The MR., who went by Ponyboy Curtis back then, sent me, who went by Jane Fonda, a message saying that he liked the song on my profile. I replied with 'that's it' and the rest is history! We dated long distance for over two years and I finally moved in with him shortly after that. We were married on September 25, 2010. I don't know how I got so lucky! XO
