The Kids In America // The Clueless Collection

OMGGGG!!!!! Totally freaking out right now. Can we just take a moment to talk about the amazingness of the latest lookbook from Wildfox? They nailed it! I can't even put into words how happy this is making me. Clueless was one of those movies that shaped and inspired my adolescence and style. I literally spent $17 on pencils with the fuzzy tops at Miller's Outpost in the mall in 1995. To see these images recreated 17 years later is the best trip ever! I will be reciting Clueless quotes for the rest of the day now. What's your favorite Clueless quote? XOXO

30 Day Green Smoothie Challenge

That's right, Im starting the new year off on a healthy start with a 30 day green smoothie challenge. I would like to think that I can implement this into my everyday lifestyle, but you know how it goes. I can at least commit to 30 days! I would like to think that I am the type that is into being healthy and into clean eating, but I am also super lazy, always on the go, and I hate cooking. Naturally, the smoothie is the perfect fit for me. I stumbled across this smoothie challenge from Simple Green Smoothies while surfin' Instagram. I've already completed the first week of the 30 day green smoothie challenge and I totally dig it! I started off with a pretty basic smoothie for the first week but plan to get a little more creative this week!

Basic Smoothie: 1 Banana + 1 Cup Spinach + 1 Cup Mango + 1 Cup Pineapple + 1 Cup Almond Milk

The Best of 2012

Wow, hello 2013! The past year has been amazing for Hella Vintage, filled with lots of changes and growth. It's pretty cool to look back and see what we've accomplished in the last year and where we are headed. I cannot wait to see what 2013 has to offer! Here are a few highlights from the past year. Behind the scenes of our first studio shoot with our model Stephanie, to our first lookbook, our exclusive collection for Market Publique and our new website! Eekk!

Christmas Coma

HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR FRIENDS! I am super excited to start 2013! I don't know about you but I was in a slight Christmas coma for awhile there. The new year brings the official unofficial fresh start... a chance to reflect on the past year, set new goals, organize and move forward. And that is exactly how I am spending this first day of the new year... After I make a dent in these gift cards. 

I started my first tradition in 2012 and that was to make a list of goals to accomplish for the upcoming year. What started out as a few personal goals turned into the "birthday list" as I like to call it. I came up with 26 goals to try and accomplish by my 27th birthday. Today, 365 days later, I am checking in on those goals and I did pretty good I must say. Some I can cross off and some will carry over into 2013 along with a few new ones. Well, I am currently finishing up my "27 before 28" list now. Stay tuned...

Birthday Update: My Birthday Wishlist works like a charm every year! This year I scored the leopard coat, stud bracelets, similar boots and an iPad! I was beyond spoiled this year. xoxo
