Weekend Snapshots // Danzig

Yep! That's right... the MR. and I took a long weekend and got away for a few days. I guess this is what you call the "calm before the storm" so to speak. From the looks of these pictures you would think all we did was eat but we planned this little getaway a few months back after scoring 25th Anniversary Danzig tickets to the Ventura Theater. This mini vaca could not have come at a better time... with us being so busy recently and having some new projects starting to take effect it was nice to take a break from it all and just catch our breath before everything starts to take off. All in all the show was amazing, we ate some pretty delicious food, stayed in a super comfy hotel, got in some retail therapy, drove to Santa Barbara to hit the beach and ended our weekend with a trip to the zoo. Pretty perfect if you ask me. XO

In The Studio

This weekend I tagged along with the MR. while he was up at the studio with his band Forget Your Friends. I got to hear a few new tracks along with some of the mixed and mastered tracks that will be released on their debut. I cannot wait! 

I know I am slightly partial, but can I just say, Holy Shit, FYF is amazing! So stoked for their debut album to be 

released and everything else that's in the works! Hope you all had a killer weekend too! XO

Lately

These past few months have felt like a blink of an eye. I have a feeling the next few will be the same way.
Life has been pretty busy lately but I am one lucky lady with plenty to be thankful for!

Currently the MR. has been in the studio with his band, Forget Your Friends, their debut hits next month and they have some exciting things in the works. I couldn't be more proud of my better half! We have also been setting up our new studio space for Hella Vintage and have a killer new inventory to bring to you this summer. My day job is out of control amazing! I couldn't be happier and I thank my lucky stars everyday that I am blessed to be doing what I love. Some days are thirteen hour work days but you won't be hearing any complaining from me... that's what coffee is for.

Right now the sun is coming up earlier in the mornings, concert season is upon us and we just got our tickets to Danzig and Iron Maiden, the day job is booming and growing with our website set to launch next month, I'm back on my green smoothies, I'm still growing out my bangs and any down time is spent with my sweet MR. and our pets.
Life is beautiful and I'm so thankful for it.

The Golden Goose Is On The Loose

I've got two tickets to Iron Maiden baby... Come with me Friday, don't say maybe... Friday the 13th that is! OMG, I'm so excited!!! The MR. and I just bought our tickets to see Iron Maiden in September. I've always wanted to see Iron Maiden live. Last year we missed out when they were touring in California so we jumped on it this time. What makes this even more perfect is that Megadeth is on this tour too! Megadeth is the mister's favorite band so you could imagine his astonishment to see them in the line up. Curtis has seen them play at least six times on his own and we saw them
together back in 2011 at the Big 4. Needless to say it's going to be an awesome Friday the 13th!! XO
